Absolutely classic Paringa, one of the first out of the blocks on the Peninsula with shiraz in the 1980s, picking as late as June. Warmer vintages haven't blunted the impact of the spicy/peppery blackberry, blood plum and licorice flavours supported by fine tannins and subtle oak. Drink by: 2046. Special Value. Score - 97. (James Halliday, winecompanion.com.au, Nov. 1, 2018)
