From a single vineyard in Woori Yallock, from 2008 plantings of 95 clone. Hand picked and whole-bunch pressed to puncheons for maturation and fermentation. A bright green gold, this is immediately engaging and open with its aromas of white peach, white flowers and preserved lemons. With its superb purity of fruit, I love the way the acidity cuts through the wine, giving it backbone and length. All the 2020 Vineyard Series chardonnays are subtle variations on a theme, with the Henk being my pick today. They all completely over-deliver for the price, too. Drink by: 2026. Special Value.
