A blend of Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca, Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca sourced from vines ranging in age from 22 to 26 years old and planted in schist soils. The grapes are hand-harvested, hand-sorted and de-stemmed into traditional granite lagars where they are 'foot-stomped' for up to 4 hours long. Fermented via indigenous yeasts and matured in Old Port casks. Complex aromas of dried fruits, toffee and caramel with a luscious, rich palate. Serve slightly chilled as an aperitif or as a perfect accompaniment to chocolate desserts and strong cheeses. 107 g/l RS.
