'Steillage' translates to 'steep slope' and refers to the precipitous grades upon which the vineyards of the Mosel are planted (some of them stand at a vertigo-inducing angle of 70°). This Riesling is off-dry with impressive peach and lime tones and plenty of that stony mineral for which the Mosel is also famed. This is a wine well-suited to white-flesh fish or spicy Asian foods.
