Structured and complex with smoky notions of dark cherry, wild raspberry and cured meat. This is made from 95% Nerello Mascalese and 5% Nerello Cappuccio grown in the foothills of Europe's highest active volcano. There's a bit of a Barbaresco vibe going on, but it's definitely its own thing. The finish brings a lovely mineral aspect, too. This will be best through 2025 with grilled or roasted meats.
