The cleverly named Amarose is indeed a rose, that has seen skin contact with the dried skins and lees of appassimento wines. It is a blend of pinot noir, chardonnay and gamay. It pours pale salmon pink and shows a gentle, quite subtle nose of red cherry, strawberry jam, dried flower and vague spice. It is medium-full bodied but only 12.2%, with some sense of richness yet freshness as well. The balance is very good indeed, the length as well. There is a pleasant sour cherry skin bitterness on the finish. Score - 89. (David Lawrason, winealign.com, April 2, 2020)
