A 50:50 blend of sangiovese and cabernet sauvignon, aged 12 months in barriques, this wine is made only in selected years. It's a full-bodied red with quite concentrated flavours showing a little spiciness. The fruit is well complemented by fresh, clean acidity, and the tannins are nicely integrated.
