This wine comes from a granitic hillside planted in the El Olivar Vineyard in the Peralillo zone in 2005. 38% of the wine was aged in barrels and the rest in stainless steel tanks. Displaying abundant ripe red fruit and some spices, this is a textbook juicy carménère with a backdrop of herbal tones in a wine with a commercial character, in the best sense of the term. There's no excess here - just fruit. Score - 92. (guiadescorchados.cl, 2020)
