Half of the fruit for this single-vineyard blend of Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Nebbiolo is pressed immediately after harvest and half is dried for two months. It then all undergoes a second fermentation on Amarone lees. Expect this ripasso-style wine from one of the masters of the craft to suggest fresh and dried berry, with complex cocoa, tar and spice notes.
