Deep ruby red, tending to orange reflections when aged. On the nose, intense and persistent, with notes of rose and violet, red forest fruits, and spices with good minerality. On the palate, dry, well-developed tannins, intense, equilibrate and persistent, continuously recalling the flavours pictured from the nose. Exceptionally good structure, light velvety with the natural elegance of Nebbiolo wines from the Lessona area. Serve with salami, risotti from Piedmont's old tradition, red meats in all styles, 'crusted' fillet, roast hare, roast partridge, cheeses, truffles.
