The most southerly wine-growing commune in the Côte de Beaune, Santenay has a reputation for Pinot Noir brimming with notes of dark cherry and fresh flowers. Fruit for this wine was harvested by hand. The wine spent 18 months in oak barrels, about a third of them new, from the producer's own cooperage. Savour this over the next 5-10 years with filet mignon.
