This is a big-boned tempranillo with full-on fruit that nonetheless delivers a good degree of complexity and very good structure. The acidity is well calibrated and it provides freshness to the texture. It was aged in new oak (80% French, 20% American) and draws a hint of vanilla and clean, moderate tannins. This is drinking very well now and will easily hold to 2024. Score - 92. (Rod Phillips, rodphillipsonwine.com, undated)
