My favorite of the three bottled cuvées I tasted from the local cooperative is the 2016 Gigondas Signature, a barrel-aged blend of 80% Grenache and 10% each Mourvèdre and Syrah. Garrigue-tinged cherries lead the way in this full-bodied, creamy-textured beauty. Supple and already approachable, it does firm up a bit on the spicy, leathery finish, suggesting a bit more longevity than the co-op's other wines. Drink date: 2018-2028. Score - 93.
