This Nebbiolo comes from 40 year old vines in Valmaggiore vineyard, in the Village of Vezza d'Alba. After 15 days of maceration in stainless steel tanks, it is then aged 14 months in French oak. Subtle and elegant, this long wine is imbued with red fruit and dried roses. Tannins are fine and well-integrated, drawing freshness and purity of fruit to a lengthy finish.
