Deep red. Spice-accented cherry and raspberry aromas show good clarity and pick up a hint of smokiness with air. Juicy and smooth on the palate, offering subtly sweet red fruit character and a deeper licorice note on the back half. Finishes long and supple, with dusty tannins coming in to add grip to a lingering cherry note. Drinking window: 2022-2030. Score - 92. (Josh Raynolds, vinous.com, Dec. 2019)
