100% Red Tempranillo grape from the region of San Asensio and Briones, in Rioja. aged 12 months in 60% French 40% American barrels. Colour is a cherry red claret tone with an intense, subtle, fresh aroma of red fruits, mainly redcurrants and raspberries, milky background, with elegant minerality, toasted, vanilla and smoky glints. Palate is sweet on entry, smooth, well structured tannins through the mouth, lingering finish that is full-bodied, elegant, and rounded. Wonderful with antipasto. IWC 93 Pts
