This is from a selection of vineyards in the Panquehue zone toward the interior of the Aconcagua Valley, the traditional zone for Errázuriz. Aged in barrels for 14 months, this carménère reflects a very good year in the valley. The aromas are red and smell of intensely fresh red fruits accompanied by herbal tones in a body that's smooth and friendly, but that also has piercing, polished tannins and enough force to anchor it on the palate and lend a solid sensation of structure. Score - 94. (Patricio Tapia, guiadescorchados.cl, 2020)
