María Ignacia Eyzaguirre and consultant Didier Debono make one of my favourite Chilean Carmenères, which is even more impressive in 2018 than it was in 2017. Rich, ripe, dense and concentrated, but still beautifully balanced, this is a polished, glossy, harmonious red with sweet spices, understated wood and textured tannins. Drink date: 2022-2028. Score - 95. (Tim Atkin, MW, timatkin.com, Chile Special Report 2020)
