A Vigno that joins in with the new style of carignans that are much fresher and smoother, this one comes from a vineyard planted in the Melozal zone in 1950. It was primarily aged in 2,000-liter foudres (85% of the total volume), which doesn't allow the oak to interfere much with the fruit, which is fresh and red, set in medium body with firm (but never aggressive) tannins. This is a wine for the cellar, but you could also drink it now with deli meats. Score - 94. (Patricio Tapia, guiadescorchados.cl, 2020)
