Bold and brooding, yet wonderfully balanced and harmonious, showing blackberry, spiced plum, dark cocoa, cedar and cake spice aromas on the nose. It's stacked with rich fruit intensity and lavish texture, brilliantly framed by fine powdery tannins. Flatteringly classy with majestic presence and staggering complexity. At its best: 2024 to 2041. Score - 98. (Sam Kim, wineorbit.co.nz, July 2020)
