An expressive nose of red and black cherries, black plums and hints of blueberry. This has really juicy freshness, a round mouthful and silky tannins that gently coat the mouth providing support for the ample and well-structured fruit flavours. Clean, precise and linear - this has great typicity. Made from 80% Côte de Beaune and Nuits grapes, 15% from Côte Chalonnaise, 5% from south Beaujolais. Aged 50% in barrels, for nine months on average. Drinking window: 2020-2024. Score - 91. (Georgina Hindle, decanter.com, June 7, 2020)
