From vineyards planted on alluvial soils, where the Maipo River once passed on its way to the Pacific, this carménère is a wine that's crystal clear in its expression of the variety. The aromas of herbs, red fruits, and spices are having a little party here. The acidity is firm, and this wine has tension. A good example of the new wave of carménère that turns toward freshness and away from the flavors of oak and chocolate. Score - 92. (guiadescorchados.cl, 2020)
