The majority of the vines in Bandol are planted on terraces arranged across what is essentially a natural amphitheater that faces the sea. The low man-made walls of the terraces are made of a type of river stone called restanques. This will be an impressive wine, with generous black fruit and pepper spice alongside Provence's distinctive herbal tones.
