A portion of the grapes for this wine are allowed to become overripe before harvesting. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel, as does most of the ageing, but some of the wine sees time in barrel, which adds depth and complexity to its fruit-forward character. An outstanding value ideal for mushroom risotto or duck.[Luca Maroni did not include a tasting note.] Score - 97. (lucamaroni.com, 2021)
