The wine is medium bodied with a deep cherry hue. Aromas of ripe cherry, raspberry and blackberry are dominant on the nose, followed by subtle notes of savoury summer herbs and saddle leather. The wine is very soft on the palate with wonderfully soft, silky tannins that reflect the aromas on the nose. The finish is long and lingering. There is evidence of wood treatment and this is reflected in the freshness of the wine. Pairs well with tomato-based dishes, grilled red meat and medium cheese. Drink 2017-2024
