On the nose, wonderful aromas of ripe plums and wild cherries jump out of the glass, underlaid with hints of thyme and cedarwood. On the palate, this Pinot Noir delights with its complex density, while at the same time it retains its ease of drinking. Earthy and vegetal notes of forest floor, some chocolate and mocha complement the aromas of the nose perfectly. The well-balanced fruit acidity gives the wine freshness and liveliness, while tannins and the fine wood notes from the 12-month barrel aging linger in on the finish.
