The 2018 harvest in the Willamette Valley took place under conditions that were as near to ideal as possible, producing grapes with excellent ripeness and freshness. This Pinot is quite young and easily has 5-7 years, if not more, ahead of it. It offers ripe plum, cherry, beetroot and smoke, with a fine mineral undertone. Very well-made, this will be superb with duck. (Vintages panel, Sept. 2019)
