Warm Pear & Icewine Punch

New Year’s Eve is the perfect time for a little decadence, and a warm icewine punch is just that.
Serves 8
4 cups (1 L) pear nectar with
1-star anise
three 4-inch (10-cm) cinnamon sticks
4 oz Grand Marnier
375-mL bottle of icewine
In a medium pot, combine 4 cups (1 L) pear nectar with 1-star anise and three 4-inch (10-cm) cinnamon sticks. Cover and bring to a simmer; reduce heat to low, and stir in 4 oz Grand Marnier, followed by a 375-mL bottle of Inniskillin Vidal Icewine. Cover and keep warm (don’t let boil). To serve, ladle 6 oz into a heatproof mug and garnish with an additional cinnamon stick.
