Makes 1 drink

To a cocktail shaker, add 6 purple grapes, ½ fresh plum, ½ oz lemon juice and ½ oz cinnamon syrup (see TIP). Muddle. Fill the shaker with ice and add 1½ oz whisky and 1 oz grape juice. Shake sharply and strain into a Martini glass. Garnish with a slice of plum.

 

TIP To make cinnamon syrup, combine 1 cup sugar, 1 cup boiling water and 3 cinnamon sticks. Stir to dissolve sugar and allow to cool. Remove cinnamon and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks
