Spiced Rum Flip

To a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add 1½ oz spiced rum, 1 whole egg, 1 oz cream, ¼ oz to 1/2 oz maple syrup. Shake hard until frothy. Strain into a coupette glass and add a dusting of nutmeg.
