Snakebite
FEBRUARY 2017
Although a Snakebite is traditionally served with Lager, Stout can add a nice chocolate flavour to the sweet apple of the cider.
Makes 1 cocktail
6 oz cider
6 oz Lager or Stout
Granny Smith apple slice, for garnish (optional)
Tilt and fill a pint glass just over halfway with cider. Wait a few seconds for any foam to settle. Turn a spoon upside down so the back is facing upward. Put the inverted spoon into the pint glass and angle it so the tip of the spoon just touches the top of the cider. Slowly pour the stout over the back of the spoon, moving the spoon higher as the glass fills up. This will keep the cider and stout separated. Garnish with apple, if you like.
