Ruby Spritzer

Makes 1 cocktail
1 lime wedge
Cinnamon rimmer (see recipe below)
2 oz Patrón Silver tequila
½ oz freshly squeezed lime juice
½ oz agave syrup
1½ oz non-alcoholic sparkling apple cider or apple juice
A splash of pomegranate juice (optional)
An apple slice and fresh mint leaves, for garnish (optional)
Rub a lime wedge around outer rim of a cocktail glass. Turn in cinnamon rimmer. Pour tequila, lime juice and agave syrup to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Strain into prepared glass partially filled with crushed ice. Top with sparkling apple cider and pomegranate juice. Garnish with apple slice and mint.

Cinnamon Rimmer
Mix ½ tsp (2 mL) granulated sugar with a pinch of ground cinnamon and salt on a small plate.
