Margarita

Makes 1 cocktail
2 lime wedges, for garnish
Kosher salt
1½ oz blanco tequila
1 oz orange liqueur, preferably Cointreau
1 oz fresh lime juice
½ oz simple syrup or agave syrup (optional)
1. Rub a lime wedge around rim of a chilled margarita glass and rim outside edge with salt. Fill glass with ice. Pour tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice and syrup into ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously then strain into prepared glass. Garnish with a lime wedge.
