Cool Breeze Negroni

Using Saline Solution (recipe follows) allows you to control the amount of salt that gets into each drink. Because the salt will dampen the bitter taste of Campari, a key ingredient in the Cool Breeze Negroni, this is a great way to introduce new drinkers to bitter spirits.

Makes 1 drink

To a rocks glass filled with ice, add 1 oz gin, 1 oz Campari, 1 oz sweet vermouth and 5 drops Saline Solution (recipe follows). Stir to mix. Add a lemon slice and an orange slice to garnish.

SALINE SOLUTION
1 Mix ⅛ tsp (0.5 mL) salt into 1 tbsp (15 mL) warm water, then use an eye dropper to experiment with the amount of saline in your Negroni.
