Classic White Wine Spritzer

The taste and texture of wine will change in a cocktail, so don't use bottles you have been cellaring for a special occasion. Use inexpensive wines as your base. One of the easiest wine cocktails to make is a Spritzer and I find dry acidic wines work best.
3 to 4 oz dry white wine
Soda water
Garnish
Lemon slice
1. To make a classic Spritzer, start with a tall glass with ice, add 3 to 4 oz of a dry white wine such as Winzer Krems Gruner Veltliner.
2. Top with soda water and serve garnished with a slice of lemon.
