Canadian Coffee
Autumn 2005
Makes 4 servings
3 cups (750 mL) coffee
3/4 cup (180 mL) whipping cream
1/3 cup (80 mL) maple syrup
1/2 cup (125 mL) Gibson's whisky
Whip cream with 4 tsps (60 mL) maple syrup until it forms soft mounds, set aside. Divide remaining maple syrup and whisky among 4 warmed glass mugs. Fill mugs with coffee, saving 1-inch (2.5-cm) on top to spoon topping over coffee.
