Typical, if ripe, Loire Valley Cabernet Franc, with fruit firmly in the red and fresh black spectrum, and an herbal dimension that has shifted towards dried and roasted, such is the impression of (relative) warmth and sunshine. There's a nice streak of black olive, black tea and dried violets, framed up by moderate, chalky-dusty tannins and balanced acids. Length and depth are very good indeed. This is satisfying, densely packed and concentrated wine. Nicely done. Score - 91. (John Szabo, MS, winealign.com, April 24, 2019)
