There's less Syrah and more Carignan in the 2017 La Clape Rocaille than in the Oros bottling, and it's aged exclusively in tank. It's still an attractive, fruit-driven wine for drinking over the next 3-4 years, with the herbal, spicy notes of the Carignan serving to highlight the blueberry fruit of the Syrah, while the Grenache fleshes out the medium-bodied palate. Drink date: 2019-2023. Score - 90. (Joe Czerwinski, robertparker.com, May 31, 2019)
