Beauvignac Picpoul de Pinet 2018

750 mL bottle  |   VINTAGES#:  350124

Picpoul de Pinet is both a variety and an appellation centred on the Mediterranean coast in the south of France. In fact some vineyards are planted on beach sand. Its local usage and culture is intertwined with oyster farming off shore. It is a light to medium bodied, fresh white with simple aromas of yellow apple, grapefruit and subtle florals. There is some textural creaminess with nicely embedded firm acidity. Overall, nicely balanced with good to very good length. Well priced, well made summer wine. Score - 88.
