The Frosé

If your rosé wine isn’t quite as dry as you expected, add a little less of the sweet elderflower liqueur or cordial to restore the balance.

½ cup (125 mL) ice
3 oz dry rosé wine
1 oz elderflower liqueur or cordial
3 oz white cranberry juice
¼ cup (60 mL) fresh or frozen (thawed) strawberries (or 2 oz strawberry purée)

To a blender, add ½ cup (125 mL) ice, 3 oz dry rosé wine, 1 oz elderflower liqueur or cordial, 3 oz white cranberry juice, ¼ cup (60 mL) fresh or frozen (thawed) strawberries (or 2 oz strawberry purée). Blend and pour into a wine glass. Garnish with a basil sprig and a strawberry slice.

Makes 1 drink
