The Bramble

Combine 1 1/2 oz London Dry gin, 3/4 oz fresh lemon juice and 1/2 oz Simple Syrup (recipe follows) in a cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake until well blended, then fine-strain into an Old Fashioned glass. Top up with crushed ice, and float 3/4 oz Chambord (blackberry liqueur) on top. Garnish with a skewer of blackberries.

Makes 1 drink


SIMPLE SYRUP
Combine equal parts sugar and boiling water, stir until sugar has dissolved, and store in fridge until chilled.
