Mendocino Cocktail
Summer 2005
The sweet vanilla notes of bourbon, combined with tropical juices and the spicy blast of jalapeño, create a cocktail that is soplhisticated and exotic.
1 oz bourbon
1/4 lemon, fresh juice
1 tsp diced jalapeño peppers (seeds removed)
2 oz passion fruit juice
2 oz guava juice
Ice
Garnish
Lemon wheel
Red chili pepper
1. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add bourbon, the juice of 1/4 fresh lemon, diced jalapeño peppers (seeds removed), passion fruit juice and guava juice.
2. Shake sharply and strain into a rocks glass filled with ice, making sure that all peppers remain in the shaker.
3. Garnish with a lemon wheel and a red chili pepper.
