Garden Patch Caesar
Summer 2002
The Caesar is a true Canadian cocktail, and a sign that summer has finally arrived. Everyone has their preferred variations, from mild to spicy, but what makes a good Caesar is the garnish.
1½ oz vodka
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp hot sauce
Juice of 1/4 fresh lime
1. Rim a tall glass with fresh lime and celery salt. Fill the glass with ice and add vodka, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce and lime juice.
2. Top with Clamato juice and stir to mix.
Garnish:
You can use one of the following:
- steamed and chilled asparagus spears
- crisp young carrots
- skewer of lightly roasted baby onions
- fresh cherry tomatoes
- steamed and chilled broccoli florets
