Canuck Mojito
Summer 2013
In honour of the brief Canadian summer, we have created a Canadian whisky and blueberry Mojito that is wonderfully smooth and light and makes a great accompaniment to grilled back-bacon sandwiches.
To a highball glass, add 4 lime wedges (½ a lime), ½ oz maple syrup, 2 tbsp fresh or frozen blueberries and 10 mint leaves, torn. Muddle (but do not mash). Fill the glass with ice and add 1½ oz Canadian whisky and 1 oz blueberry juice. Add more ice and stir to mix. Top with a splash of soda and garnish with a blueberry spear.
