Canadian Shield Caesar
Spring 2005
The Caesar is Canada's favourite cocktail, and the original recipe was created by a Calgary bartender named Walter Schell. This version pays homage to Canada from coast to coast.
1 oz vodka
1 tsp seafood cocktail sauce
Dash hot sauce
4 oz Clamato juice
Garnish: skewer of smoked Atlantic salmon and a cooked B.C. prawn
1. Rim a tall glass with fresh lime and celery salt. Fill the glass with ice and add vodka, seafood cocktail sauce, a dash of hot sauce and Clamato juice. Garnish with a skewer of smoked Atlantic salmon and a cooked B.C. prawn.
