Campari Royale
Winter 2004
Almost an inversion of the traditional drink, Kir Royale, with the sweetness coming from the sparkling wine rather than from the crimson addition, it's the perfect party greeter or pre-dinner cocktail for those who prefer dry rather than sweet aperitifs.
1 bottle dry prosecco (Italian Sparkling wine) such as Prosecco di Valdobbiadene
1 bottle of Campari
1. Fill five 6 oz Champagne flutes to within an inch of the rim with chilled prosecco.
2. Top with 1/2 oz of Campari, and serve.
