The rich and smoky vanilla and caramel notes of bourbon are brought on by the unique ageing process all bourbons undergo - being stored in new, charred oak casks for a minimum of two years. The chocolate liqueur addition highlights the sweet essence in this delicious cocktail; perfect for the end of a festive Thanksgiving dinner.
1 oz bourbon
1 oz coffee, chilled
1 oz dark crème de cacao
Garnish:
Vanilla bean
1. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add 1 oz bourbon, 1 oz chilled coffee, 1 oz dark crème de cacao.
2. Shake sharply and strain into a cocktail glass.
3. Garnish with a vanilla bean.
