'A blend of 45% Alicante Bouschet, 35% Syrah and 20% Castelão. It was aged for six months in second use French oak with acacia tops. It comes in at 14% alcohol. This is not deep and concentrated, but it isn't too thin for the regular Tinto. The structure is reasonable, resulting in a supple wine that you can drink now, but it has enough support for the fruit to allow it to age a bit. The most notable feature is the flavor profile. These are all high-personality grapes in various respects. There's beef and game mingled with strawberries. The whole is complex and flavorful but always dry and controlled. It's nicely done at a very modest price level. It's a good deal. Score 87, eRobertParker.com, June 2018'
