Jean-Claude and Hervé Nesme began growing grapes in Burgundy in 1918. Jean-Claude passed away in 1958, dividing his vines among his five children. His son Albert began to bottle and sell his own wines in 1974. Aligoté is an early-ripening variety native to Burgundy, where it produces tart, floral, herbal wines with a vibrant acidity. Try this with seafood.
