    Both the syrah (50%) and the carménère (15%) in this blend come from the Peumo zone, in the middle of the Cachapoal Valley, while the 35% cabernet sauvignon is from Requínoa, in Alto Cachapoal. The grapes are all estate-grown in this juicy example of spicy notes, and delicious acidity, with herbal notes all over the place, and a bit of menthol. A mountain wine. Score - 93.
